I am a bit confused as I was attempting to make some cards, stickers, labels, etc...and I centered some of the text or moved to the right, etc...and when I go in to see if all the "customize" type template fields are ok, it moves things around...ie. if original is centered, when I type a longer name it is no longer centered...Is there a way to avoid this? What am I doing wrong now? I know I can lock the object, but then I thought that if I locked it and it was a longer name it would definitely then show off center and the person would not be able to move it...
Please help...thanks!

if I am following you correctly, then I think that you must have the font set to 'left aligned' instead of 'centred aligned' within the text field itself, meaning - the little icon that shows black lines for a paragraph.

i always use the longest name possible on my template like "Christiana Donimique" as a name...that way i know the big name will fit...and "joe" will still fit

ah, thank you both...hmmm...I guess some things I may need to reconsider how I design... ie. I can't design something like below and expect that no matter what is entered in ABCDEFG the abcdf will align with it on the right, is that correct? sigh...I wish it would automatically change the font size in order to lock alignment of both words...oh well, I'll keep thinking of other ideas...thanks so much...
ABCDEFG abcdf

If you set them both to "align right", they should stay aligning right no matter what's added. Looking at this one http://www.zazzle.fr/puerto_rico_taino_personal_card_business_card-240429669193212569All the text is set to align centre, and that's your problem - when the text is all ligning up down one side, it should be set to align on that side.
