I sympathise! A bit of a contrast from the desert! The first two are within 100 yds, the others within 2 miles. Edit: I love your chair (car seat?) in the desert!

You have some lovely cards. I especially like the snow one. I miss that alot. Oh and the chair, it is just something someone dumped on the side of one of the backroads here. Alot of people prefer to dump their garbage on the side of the road rather than do the right thing with it. Makes for some interesting photos sometimes. Laughing

Most of my shots are from around my area in Central Oregon. Weather is still nice, but looking forward to reshooting a lot of spots once the snow falls.

No, romanceworks reposted TagGal's images with her comments about them. But I can see how it would confuse people if you don't pay attention to the note at the top, which says: "TagGal wrote:"

LOL huh, I grew up only a few miles from where you are now, in Palmdale. And some things never change. I love the pic of the chair. Though if you didn't know how it is around there most people would think it was "staged".

It's kind of sad really, The High Desert has some of the prettiest scenery in California. Just ask all the movie studios Happy I always did hate to see it like that.
But I love it when you post new photographs from around there. Though it kinda makes me homesickGrin

But, hint, hint, my 20 year High School reunion is next summerHappy

Love

The other pictures look like places where I grew up. The desert pictures are an alien world to me and very pretty. The graffiti cars are hilarious and the photo with the chair is great. I would be afraid to sit on it. It looks like a great place for spiders, scorpions and snakes. We don't have snakes in the Aleutians, never have, as far as I know, and no scorpions. We have a few species of spiders, but mostly I only see the wolf spiders and they are practically like pets, except the cats keep eating them.

Thank you, I like your high desert shots too. I'm just in the tree line on the fringe of Oregon's high desert. Here's our landmark rock climbing spot. The Monkey Face

The image on this mousepad was taken at a local public garden. I love all the beautiful trees that grow there.
